Baucher Bits

The “hanging cheek piece” of the Baucher bit is a bit of metal that extends upward from the bit ring and joins to the cheek piece. This bit seems to have more leverage than a conventional snaffle, and the design creates a little poll pressure to help modify the horse’s head frame.
